Abbie Horchar Named 3 Minute Thesis Finalist
SSP Member Abbie Horchar has advanced to the final round of UNCG's 3 Minute Thesis competition. Abbie attended our 3MT workshop prior to submission. Vote for people's choice HERE. Best of luck Abbie!
Megan Damico elected Southern Hub Chair for the NSPN

"Meet the Scientists" with Greensboro Public Library
The Greensboro Public Library hosted a seminar called "Meet the Scientists," directed towards local middle and high schoolers. The panel of SSP members answered questions about the college application project, career opportunities, and STEM degrees
SSP Wins Volunteering Award
UNCG held a competition to see which school organization could have the most volunteering hours at the vaccine clinic. SSP won a $300 award for their efforts at the clinic. Nice work team!
